Hello,
I have been using an amapad 1 and 2 screens for spotspraying using magic tool and loading them as an annotation. That works great but now I have been presented by an amatron 4 screen by one of my customers. It should be able to do spotspraying using amaselect spot. But after half a day of trying everything from using annotations to operation. Nothing worked. Because the boundary and annotation will get stuck in the amatron because the files are too big(I think). And the operation will show the 0L/Ha and the 200L/Ha where it needs to spray but it won’t control each individual section. It will only sometimes turn on and off the entire sprayer.
And finally the amatron spotspray export also won’t work because somehow to files won’t show when trying to import on the amatron. I’ve tried every possible way to organize the files on the usb stick. It just shows nothing on the screen. The sprayer does have the amaselect pro license.
Does anyone have experience with spotspraying on the amatron 4 screen? Is there something I’m doing wrong or do I miss an extra license?
Any suggestion is welcome, thanks!!
Hi,
did you reach out do AMAZONE directly, looks like there is an activation missing.
Yes, I just did and all the needed licenses are in place. I just find it weird that when I use the Amatron 4 export function the screen doesn’t see the files. Pix4dF makes an “SpotSprayKarte” map with all the Shape files in place. But the screen doesn’t show anything. Even when moving the shape files out of the folder.
Update: It was the software version which wasn’t up to date. The amatron requires The “J” software for the spot spraying to be available. Havent updated yet but will soon.

I just installed the NW216-J.027 and it does load. Did you update the sprayer or the screen itself? When exporting make sure the operation is exported with the amatron 4 export function. You then get a “spotspraykarte” file. With the new amatron update you get a new import screen at the main menu. En then when the sprayer is connected you should get a spot spraying option menu inside the map view setting page. Make sure you have the “GPS-Switch-pro” license. The sprayer itself doesn’t need to be on the J software
we updated ther Terminal through local Dealer, the map was exporter via Pix4d fields and amazone export menu. The file is on the stick and includes all 5 single files.
The import screen opens but it is empty and shows no files.
GPS Pro licences is active
