On behalf of mining surveyors, I ask for the following functionality.
Surveyors (or geologists) want to model a deposit that has an irregular structure. As a rule, there are ‘inaccessible’ points In order to do this, I need to connect several polygons together - as in this image, specifying the XYZ coordinates of each polygon. I then calculate the given calculations for each layer (folded) separately. It would be nice if, in order to triangulate the surface, extra points could be added inside the polygon. It would make the calculations much easier. It seems to me that this is not hard to implement.
