My suggestion is to creat a clipping box tool so we can analyse small areas on the fly and limit what points Pix4D Cloud is looking for/loading for better performance.
Better yet, clip by SHAPE! Like draw a polygon and set is as clipping boundary. With this, we can set multiple shapes for clipping and quickly change analysis from one area to another and have those desired boxes saved as well.
Pix4d Cloud is amazing, but sometimes it’s hard to focus/understand specific areas with it active loading or unloading points from the cloud as I move the view, specially if the adaptive option is active.
I understand this ”load as you move” keeps the viewer ligth and saves on internet data. But with large datasets it’s very hard to get a hold of what we are seeing.
