Hi, is there any way to crop a model to a particular region of interest in pix4d so we can reduce the area in the model prior to further analysis? Some 3D software (such as Skanect) provides a nice bounding box that you can adjust to select a 3D region of interest.
Hi Tim, I can see different ways of doing that depending on what you want to do with the cropped model.
First of all, you can draw a densification area to exclude a region from the densification of step 2.
BUT if you later want to generate the entire point cloud you have to rerun step 2.
If you just want to visualize a part of the area, you can use the clipping box, which does not have an impact on the point cloud generation.
Hope this is helpful
