Workflow for 6 fields on 1 farm with 3 Weekly Multispectral scans

Hi,
I’ve got a farm, with six field that I will scan every 3 weeks from now until harvest.
How is best to set this up?

I have a base folder in Windows where I put the first batch of data D:FARM/DATE/FIELD and plan to start a new DATE folder each time I capture to seperate the data. This is on an internal 4GB hard drive. The first capture was 250gig.

Then how about inside Pix4d Fields?
I put the Data Storage on the Hard drive where my data is D:Pix4d Processing

My plan is to setup the farm. Then I made a Project for an RGB of the whole site. Then new project for each field for the first capture.
Do I A: Start a new project for each field every time I capture it, or B: Just have one project per field and import the new data every time?

Finally I upload it all into the cloud so the client can see it.

I welcome suggestions on how best to do this.
I am worried I will run out of space on the Hard Drive though.

Cheers

I would do one project per field. The processed data inside PIX4Dfields will be ~30% of the size of the raw data. I would store the raw data on an external drive after you are finished processing them, if you want to keep it.

Thank you.
And as I do more scans on each field, do I put these back in the same project or start a new project every time?

I would do it in the same project so you can comapre different datasets with each other.

Great thank you.
I’ll be sure to start changing the names of the processed files so I can see what date the data was collected

Good idea, it will also store the aquisition time and flight duration in the info tab:
