Windows remote desktop take over

As traffic jams get larger more and more of us can choose to work from home.

At the office we got a very powerfull processing workstation.
At home our laptop doesn’t have the computing power to process projects.
The processing workstation can easily be taken over threw Windows remote desktop.
Agisoft, 3Dreshaper and other softwares work fine this way.
Why can’t all features of Pix4D work this way?
Basic editor works fine, I can start processing jobs no problem BUT once i want to go into raycloud editor things stop and Pix4D won’t go any further.
When reporting to the support, they tell me they are aware of the problem.
They tell me to get Team Viewer, sadly enough my organisation doesn’t allow this.
Please consider Windows remote desktop this would help alot of us I guess.

Thnx

Hi Wim,

We understand how important this is to you and I can see how frustrating it might be when you are not allowed to use TeamViewer. Your feedback will have more weight if you share it as a feature request on our Community and collect more votes from other users.

Here is how you can do this:

  1. Go to the category Feature Request/Suggestions.
  2. Log in or create an account, if you don’t have a Pix4D account yet.
  3. Look for the feature you are interested in. Someone else might have already asked for it. If such request doesn’t exist, create it as a new topic.
  4. Vote for it.
  5. Done, your vote is counted!
  6. You can manage, follow-up or even remove your vote(s) if you change your mind.

Best,
Teodora
