Will terrain following ever be implemented?

Terrain following is the recommended technique for flying in areas with variation in elevation according to Pix4d yet Capture still doesn’t have this feature.

I can find topics on this forum going back 7 years to 2016 with people asking about this feature.
Is there any update on when or if this will ever be implemented into the app?

Not that this answers your question, but I have had that same frustration and now use Dronelink, which has terrain-follow incorporated and it can be downloaded to the device so that you still have the ability to fly the site in an area with no online connection.
