what is the SDK

hello,
I followed the instructions of updating the firmware. but have an open question about it, in the DJI developer, download page, i downloaded the firmware,

  1. do i need to download something called SDK as well?
  2. what is the SDK? how can it help?
    (I am using P3P, to survey and mapping)

Hello Lior,

The SDK is a library from DJI that our application uses to write commands to the drone such as start the rotors, take images, etc. You do not need to update the SDK. The SDK is what our developers are using in the application.

In the DJI developer page you only need to download the beta firmware for your drone and then install it.
