Weird Warning Message Log Output

Hi,

I got this weird warning message today while processing a project:

"[Processing]: Color balancing [group1]
[Warning]: J:\jenkins\workspace\pix4dmapper_build_depends\label\win\tmp_external\build\ceres\internal\ceres\line_search_direction.cc:86 Restarting non-linear conjugate gradients: 2.53971
[Warning]:
[Processing]: Generate orthomosaic [group1]
[Warning]: Projection failed with buffer.isGeo() = yes
[Warning]: Projection failed with buffer.isGeo() = yes

"

The last message goes on for quite some lines.
So my question is two-fold:

  1. Do I need to worry or is it ok to ignore these warnings

  2. The first message which seems to include a path of some kind seems a bit weird. Is this a Pix4D internal developer path? Should it still be in the code?

Thanks in advance

Pix4Dmapper Pro 3.0.13

Also getting the same line:

[Warning]: Projection failed with buffer.isGeo() = yes

No clue what could cause this…

This is happening while generating orthophotos, results seems to be fine.

Checked my results.

Unfortunately it’s totally off. While the point cloud and resulting exports seem to be in the right place, the generated world file for georeferencing the orthomosaic seems to be wrong.

In my case the orthomosaic geoposition is off by 100km or so when inserted into Autocad

Pix4D Team, please advise.

P.S. For now, I will assume that the main cause is the recent update to version 3.0.13. As a quick fix, I will uninstall and rollback to version 2 which had no issues for me. Nevertheless, please take care of this. Thank you.

Hello Florian,

Could you please send us your full log file, quality report and orthomosaic : support@pix4d.com

Best Regards,

I am also seeing this warning:

Is there any additional information related to the cause?

We are also getting this warning in 3.0.13.

Regards,

Has there been any development into this error message?

I understand looking into a case by case basis, but if the answer can help more than just one person please post it on here as well.

Thank you

I am still getting the message, but it doesn’t seem to be hurting anything… I haven’t heard anything back from Support.

I get those error messages also :(

Hello All,

This warning “Projection failed with buffer.isGeo() = yes” is an internal warning that should not worry you. In fact, we have removed it from the log file in version 3.1. to avoid confusion.

Best regards,

Thanks for the info Pix4D!
