Hello PIX4Dmatic community! I am trying to report the flight settings (altitude, front and side overlap, etc) of flights I performed in Pix4DCapture Pro with an Anafi USA Gov in 2024. I can no longer view the plans on my controller, which I am guessing is due to the End-of-support for Capture Pro. I hoped to view the info I need instead in PIX4Dmatic but so far I haven’t had any luck. The real gist of my question is whether I can access these former flight plans on Capture Pro but obviously the End-of-support for that service is not allowing me to find this information. Are flight parameters visible in PIX4Dmatic or am I completely out of luck here?
Hello,
Matic will not give any quantitative metrics on image overlap, altitude, etc. Rather, it will give the ground sampling distance, which is a function of the internal camera parameters (i.e. focal length) and the elevation. There are also qualitative graphs (overlap and matches) that will show how many tie points were generated between images. But these are visual and give a spatial understanding of the overlap throughout the project. However, it doesn’t provide the information you are looking for.
