Vertical Coordinate System (After 2.12.0 Update)

We have been able to use the app with nearly no problems…until the 2.12.0 update.

Our Horizontal Coordinate System is EPSG 6318 (NAD83 (2011). Creating a point collection has been fine.

After the update, however, I am no longer able to make a point collection because the “Vertical Coordinate System” is unselectable. I try clicking on it to change it, but it does not work at all…ergo, the “Create” button is greyed out.

Kind regards,

Hello,

was there a fix for this? I’m having a similar issue. I’m using 2.16.1, and can’t find epsg 6318 either, but this is the coordinate system my rtk network uses. If I use autodetect in my project settings Catch won’t let me collect any data and tells me the coordinate systems have to match.

I fixed the issue by getting RTK fix first and THEN starting a point collection.

Our guys were going in with only GPS fix, creating the point collection, and then connecting to RTK.

We made sure we were connected with RTK on the ViDoc, then creating the point collection, and it allowed us to select the vertical coordinate system.

Thanks for the quick response!

That’s interesting. I’ll have to look at this. I bought the emlid Reach so it may work a little differently. But my RTK network uses epsg 6318, and when I search for that when trying to set the coordinate system for the collection project, it doesn’t show up as an option.

I am pretty sure, if I’m remembering correctly, EPSG 6318 is a WGS 84 coordinate system. That’s what shows up on our system when we don’t have the RTK connected. Once I get connected, I end up getting the right EPSG in the NAD83(2011) coordinate system.
