I have Dji Phantom 4 Drone & my total area to cover is 15 Sq Km. I want to create orthomosaic (2D). One time flight can’t go beyond 250 m. What should i do to complete 15 sq km in shortest possible time. Your help would be highly appreciated.
You should be able to cover that size of map with 3-4 drones in an 8-10 hour flight window. But you will need about 24 batteries and of course, a way to cool & charge them in the field. If you can fly 250m in altitude, then you could probably do it with just 2 drones.
