Hi,
I have a problem with the terrain filter.

In the first image you can see how the filter assigns the building in the background as terrain.

In the second photo, the filter assigned the building in the background to the appropriate layer, while the slope was assigned to the layer not terrain

Is there an optimal option for the building in the background and the one in the foreground to be assigned to the layer not terrain but the slope to the terrain layer??

Thank you for your message.

Unfortunately, there is no optimal option I can suggest you without having your dataset.
I suggest you modify the settings until you find the one that better match your dataset.

If you are happy with the results shown in the first image (besides the building in the back), you can accept in and manually change the layer of the points.

  • Run the filter as in the first image
  • Select the points of the building in the back using the selection tool
  • Right-click on the selected points and assign these to the non-terrain layer
