Splitting into multiple files

I am processing about 60 flights of 80 fields… I decided to group several fields into single flights to simplify the boundary and gain some flight efficiency. I have created a master project for the flight, and now wish to copy it into multiple instances, each for a separate field so I can do the boundary trim of the Ortho mosaic to just that field.

Is there a way to save this main file several times, so I can do keep the orthomosaic and then trim to just the field boundary?

Or… should I export the Orthomosaic and import it as a tiff into each of the individual field projects? If so, is this the preferred workflow? (ie, do I repeat this approach, adding the multispectral processing in the ‘master’ and then exporting / importing into the individual field files?

Hi Mike,

would you be able to provide us with a screenshot for context?

I would process all data into your master project, trim it there and then export the trimmed layers and reimport them into thier individual projects.

See attached. Note: There are a number of boundaries that exist to manage different flights.

Would you also process all of the multispectral flights in this one file? And… would you keep things in one file year over year?

I would process inside this project, trim the data with the boundaries and then create an individual project for each field based upon its field boudnary and the trimmed export.
