Severe visual artifacts/glitching when generating RGB Orthomosaic - Mavic 3M

Hi everyone,

I need help troubleshooting an issue regarding a corrupted output in Pix4Dfields.

When processing RGB imagery captured with a Mavic 3 Multispectral, the resulting orthomosaic renders with severe color blocks and visual glitches (see attached screenshot).

Processing Settings:

  • Mode: Fast Processing.

  • GSD: 10 cm/pixel.

PC Specifications: I am running the software on a laptop with the specs listed below. I suspect this might be related to the GPU or hardware limitations:

  • Processor: Intel(R) Core™ i7-8565U CPU @ 1.80GHz (1.99 GHz)

  • RAM: 32.0 GB

  • OS: Windows 64-bit

  • Graphics: Integrated Intel Graphics (No dedicated GPU listed).

Has anyone encountered this specific rendering error? Is this confirmation that the integrated graphics are insufficient for this dataset?

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

P.S.: I am also attaching a raw sample image taken by the drone for comparison. As you can see, the source images are clear, so I have ruled out any issues with the camera sensor or the original data acquisition.

Try turning off GPU Acceleration in the Processing settings.
