Good morning,

I’m trying to process a job and get the following errors and I don’t seem to see any posts about the error.

[Error]: Opening target file failed with error 5
[Error]: Opening target file failed with error 5
[Error]: Constrain point cloud failed!
[Error]: >>>Constrain point cloud<<< failed with error (failed to run a step!)!
[Error]: >>>Constrain point cloud<<< failed with error (failed to run a step!)!
[Error]: Failed to generate 3D textured mesh

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello @afriesen, I believe if you are using OneDrive, than the issue might be related to it.

  • Microsoft OneDrive: Using Microsoft OneDrive to synchronize data across devices is not recommended with PIX4Dmapper. When Windows attempts to sync data, OneDrive can block access to the disk, leading to processing failures. To avoid these issues, disable OneDrive or work in a directory that OneDrive does not sync.

    Common messages related to OneDrive include:
    -Writing tie point images done (Failed!)
    -Failed to write to:
    -Cannot reoptimize. Failed to remove some first step directories
