Prescription for Trimble CFX750 Display

Hi, I’m having a problem with prescriptions on the CFX750 Trimble display. It doesn’t work; I load the prescription with the shapefiles exported from Pix4d Fields for a generic sprayer. But later in the monitor, the prescription looks so low resolution, the field spray doesn’t open on the painted zones. After selecting the prescription, the display gives different configurations. Like Rate column, rate units, scale factor, rate outside prescription. Tried multiple variables I’m not sure what to put in each of them. The rate column looks crucial, in the monitor showed options like appName, rate, rateunits, and some more that I don’t recall now. If someone does a prescription for this monitor, I need help.

Hi Luciano,

Does the monitor have the Variable rate unlocked? do you have a prescription that has already worked on the same monitor?

Hi Luciano,

did you find a fix for this? I’m experiencing the same issue at the moment. its got me pulling my hair out!

We are in contact with Trimble about that, but so far we couldn’t identify a clear solution to solve it. Unfortunately, it is not very high on Trimble’s lists to support spot spraying prescription maps like other brands do.

Hi Julius.
Thanks for your reply, I have been in contact with a Trimble Ag dealership here in Australia. I’m informed they are attempting to create a work around.
They claim they will convert the data exported by fields to a format the trimble unit will comprehend.
currently working on it so fingers crossed.
Thanks Robbie

Yes, there are many workarounds floating around, but we couldn’t find a reliable one, especially when it comes to big fields and high-resolution spot spraying maps. So far, they all broke :frowning:

Thats a shame, Trimble is one of the most popular units here in Aus.
Im certainly no software engineer but I cannot understand why this is so difficult, the unit operates the section control flawlessly
when it is laying down its own coverage map it also works well when you set it to activate outside the boundary created in fields.
if you could import the non selected/targeted areas in fields map in the same format as the unit Lays down its coverage when spraying it would work fine.
Does this make sense? is it even possible?
