Is there any way to quickly remove powerlines from the point cloud? They end up getting rendered in the orthomosaic and make a mess.
I’ve previously cleaned it all up manually in pix4d mapper but am hoping that matic has a better way.
Thanks

no answer from the Pix4D team. That’s sad.
to make it short for you @vince: I guess you have to go manual. Mark them with the polygon tool in 3d and press delete. they then get disabled. we do the same with cranes.
Let me know if this works
Hello,
Thank you for your message.
Currently, PIX4Dmatic does not have a feature for the automatic detection of power lines. As a workaround, we recommend selecting and disabling these points either manually with the selection tools, or semi-automatically by using the “Color selection” tool.
Kind regards,
Alexey
Took me two days to do a full cleanup of 10 square km of data from a small town we flew. Always had this problem in Pix4d Mapper and was hoping Matic would be better.
We currently have a 1 year trial of DJI Terra and 6 months of DJI Modify. DJI Modify can auto-classify the whole point cloud into ARPRS classes. It wasn’t the best tool for this project, but am starting to look at other options after using Pix4d for about 10 years.
