Hello, we have several clients that have inquired about the privacy of the data being stored and shared on the Pix4D Cloud server. Essentially, once we create and share a web link, that link can be re-shared with people outside the organization with no password request or time expiration. Due to this reason, these clients have rejected the use of Pix4D Cloud for data sharing. It would be great if Pix4D cloud would add a password protection to the shard link OR capable of inviting a password protected user to a project with limited use such as view and annotate only.

We already have a solution for this issue. We are currently developing a new system called Organization Support. It allows a company to centralize information and manage the access rights to licenses, cloud projects, sites, and assets generated by the employees based on their roles inside the organization.

Password protection on cloud datasets is URGENTLY needed. This has been a request for over 5 years now. Survey companies like ours need to be able to securely share datasets with our clients. Alternative data hosting sites like Propeller have password protection. Why can’t Pix4D cloud at this point? I feel like this is an easy implementation and should be a high proriority there.
