I use an ipad mini. Its always worked well.
The P4 and Pix4D capture (it does an inctedible job creating clear images) still create the best quality imagery of any sub $5000 drone i am aware of.
The M3E imagery doesnt match the quality of P4s. The detail from the Hasselblad camera
(raw & compressed) images arent as good as the 7+ yr old Sony.
With aircraft and capture software going backwards, and companies dismissive of the facts, its annoying.
Thank you for your answer, Brian @rpas.
different customers might find good value in different solutions. if you need to get a consultancy about the best product for you, I suggest you contact our sales team here, explaining what is your use case and what are your goals:
To get access to Professional features on PIX4Dcapture Pro requires either a valid subscription or rental, or a perpetual license with active Support & Upgrade (S&U).
Hi @Graeme_Heinrich,
Thank you for your answer.
Iām happy to see that you have found a good solution for you.
If you want to purchase again a license just to get access to the Professional features of PIX4Dcapture Pro, you could consider a monthly license of PIX4Dcloud, as this will also allow you to use the āMission Plannerā, so that you can plan the license on the large screen of a computer and transfer these on your mobile device (1 month PIX4Dcloud is also 59ā¬).
At the moment we do not have plans for adding freeflight or automatic return to home at the end of a mission. I will share this feedback with the developers, but I canāt promise that this will be implemented.
Regarding the licensing, this has been a commercial decision and I, as a technical person, cannot help you in replying to your question.
In any case, users who are already active customers get the Professional features for free.
