Hi everyone,

Is the vertical datum automatically assigned when importing images into Pix4dmapper? For instance, If I import the images from a DJI drone like the mini 3, besides the WGS84, do the images contain information about the vertical datum or does Pix4D automatically assigns the EGM96 Geoid?

Hello,
PIX4Dmapper will assume the images are in EGM96. If they are not, then you must manually change them. However, many RTK drones will record ellipsoidal heights. In this case, it will be reflected in our camera database.
