I would like to know where export files of colored index maps are located on my computer. I cannot seem to find where the default files are being exported to.

Are you talking about Pix4Dfields or Pix4Dmapper? For Pix4Dmapper, it will in the folder 4_index inside the main output folder for that project. For Pix4Dfields, you will need to export the indices you want and save it in a folder of your choice. Does that answer your question?
