Hello there, the new Leica GPS Rover takes photos and uses GPS with IMU data. Would the data from this device be compatible with Pix4D for processing a TIFF and/or Point Cloud?
Hi @M_B
Pix4Dmapper can process images taken with any cameras, DSLR, large format or lightweight compact camera, perspective or fisheye lens.
In order to be able to use the image geolocation and orientation in Pix4Dmapper, the values need be either written in the EXIF of images or imported via a text file.
More information:
If you do not know the camera parameters, then it is possible to calibrate a perspective and fisheye camera by processing a good dataset.
Best,
The first link no longer works. Do you have another? We use Pix4d for our drone and I would love to have 1 software help us with our GPS antenna as well.
Hi @pix4d35,
Welcome to the PIX4D Community
.
Good catch, the link was a very old one and does not work anymore. I have fixed that post now.
The information has been revisited and merged with the content of the second link.
All the information is now available here:
Kind regards,
Daniele
