Larger projects in P4DF

I have a project with around 2000 tiff images, which P4DF processes with no issues using the fast processing option. However if I try the Accurate processing option, it get’s stuck at around 40% and after 24 hours still has not completed.
I think my Mac should be fast enough? 3.6GHz 8 core i9 processor, Radeon Pro 575X 4 GB graphics, 48mb memory, ITB SSD

Is there a way to split the project, process, and then merge so that I have a single output? It’s just one 20 acre field.
