Will Pix4D include DJI Air 2S anytime soon? is there a way around? What are other apps that are compatible with DJI Air 2S?
Hello @ebatista523, At the moment we don’t have any plan to support DJI Air 2S in Pix4Dcapture. If things change we will post in our PIX4Dcapture drone supported camera and drone page. Pix4Dcapture supported drones, cameras and controllers .
Pix4D’s software is drone/app agnostic, meaning that you will be able to process image data obtained from any drone or the image acquisition app. For more information see which image acquisition app can I use with Pix4D’s software?
Like @ebatista523, I would also like the DJI Air 2S to be added to Pix4D supported drones. Thanks in advance.
Hello, like @ebatista523 and @jordanhoareau, I would also like the DJI Air 2S to be added to Pix4D supported drones.
Dronelink supports Air2S
Hi, Dronelink supports it, but as I understand it, you can’t use DroneLink to create a point cloud? If so, “supports” it isn’t exactly correct…unless I’m missing something?
Is this what you are after - see Map Component

I subscribe the request to include the DJI Air 2S in Pix4Dcapture Pro
My college classes use Pix4D, but I have an Air2S. Guessing you haven’t figured out how to make your software work with Air2S yet, or don’t feel motivated to try?
I have successfully used MapPilotPro to plan and fly missions with my Air 2S. You just drag and drop the photos into Pix and it works great. My company just got a Mavic 3E and we’ve been just using DJI Pilot 2 to plan and fly the missions and then do the same, drag and drop the photos into Pix to process.
Hi @byjove,
Welcome to the Pix4D community.
Not sure which Pix4D product you are referring to, but the DJI Air 2s is compatible with all Pix4D processing software (Pix4D Supported drones).
Despite this drone not being supported by PIX4Dcapture and PIX4Dcapture Pro acquisition software, you can use any other acquisition software to acquire the data and, as long as the quality of the images and the overlap between images is good, you can process with Pix4D processing software.
Let me know if this helps you.
