I have 12th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i7-12700H for my laptop. My previous laptop used 8th Gen Intel i5 Core. I don’t really notice a significant amount of increase in processing time. They both work very well.

In terms of heat management, they both are around the same. I also cannot tell a significant amount of difference.

I found some other community posts that you may be interested but neither of them use Intel Evo i7.

Though they are also not using Evo i7, you can check their quality report if it has not expired to see how it performs in terms of processing time.
