Hi there, i am constantly getting this error in my inital processsing. I have checked all the recommendations - File locations, Cordinate systems, Images upload points etc. I have processed many similar jobs but this one just wont work? Any ideas team?
Hi @mitch,
Welcome to the Pix4D Communuity
.
Are you referring to the displaced camera positions or the Writing tie point images done (Failed!)error?
- Regarding the
Writing tie point images done (Failed!)error, this usually happens if you have OneDrive active on your device and your project and/or PIX4Dmapper folders are synced using OneDrive. To avoid these issues, disable OneDrive or work in a directory that OneDrive does not sync.
You can learn more here:
- Regarding the Camera location vertical displacement. This problem usually appears if the geoid model is not correctly set in the images geolocation or in the ground control points (GCPs) geolocation. Because of this, the software finds this inconsistency and correctly “corrects” the camera’s elevation according to the information coming from the GCPs (which is assumed correct). Please check the elevation of your sparse point cloud.
- If the elevation is correct, then you need to double-check that the geoid model selected in the Image geolocation is the same as the one that was actually used by the drone or the RTK antenna (if used) to add the geolocation of the images
- If the elevation is wrong, then you need to double-check that the geoid model selected in the GCPs geolocation is the same as the one that was actually used by the surveyor when collecting the points.

Please let me know if this helps you.
Kind regards,
Daniele
