Hi. I have a plant conservation project in mind and would like to know if with PIX4D I can do the project. I am going to use a drone to sample plants in canyons and cliffs. I am thinking on doing a vertical scan in parallel to the canyon or cliff and doing a manual flight with the drone to take pictures of the sample sites. I would like to know which PIX4D program I should use for doing so and if there is a manual or web page where I can read in more detail how to do so. Thanks for your help.
Hi contacto1,
I don’t think we have a support page dedicated specifically to imaging a vertical wall. But it all comes down to maintaining proper overlap. Make sure your images are in the 70-80% range. If it drops below 60% you will have problems.
