Hello everyone,
We have made a thermal orthomosaic from a set of images taken with a DJI M2AE, all the data have use third-party software to convert the rjpeg images into TIFF files with temperature information before processing them with PIX4D’s software. The UAV mission was set 90% overlap, which means a same object (e.g. rocks) would be captured by different images. But in the result of thermal orthomosaic map, a rock’s pixel only has one value(e.g. 25.3℃) , but the same pixel is not only captured by a single image (for example not real data : one shows 25.2℃, another 25.4℃, the other 25.3℃). So I’m curious about how do pix4d determine the final pixel value with so many tiff image on a same site’s pixel?
Hello there, PIX4Dmapper average out the pixel values and give higher weight to those pixel which are at the center of the image.
Got it!
Thank you so much.
