Error code R0009 when processing calibration panel images

No issues when processing multispectral images from DJI Multispectral Phantom P4 but when I try to add my calibration images (single .JPEG and (5) .TIF) I get the error code. Doesn’t matter if I just try one or the other file type or fast or standard processing. Error R0009 mentions most probable cause is insufficient overlap but I don’t understand how that pertains in this instance

Hi, the target images might be corrupted. Are you combining the drone and target mages? what brand it target?

Please share the log files, go to export, log files

Thank-you for your reply. Yes, I am combining the drone and target images. I first imported the jpeg/tif to generate my orthomosaic then tried doing the same with the target images. I believe that I have done this with success once. The target is Sentera. I hope that I have attached the files that you requested properly. Thanks again!

Hi, it seems you’re only importing 5 images? Please import the flight images and the reflectance panel images together.

That is correct. Pix4D will not allow me to import multiple folders. Do I need to move the calibration files into the capture folder and then import multiple files which Pix4D will allow me to do? Seems rather tedious. Thanks

I spoke too soon. When I went to move the calibration files I got a prompt that they were already there (same file name) so I just figured that they were already there. Should have known better since capture files are numbered consecutively. My calibration image files have the same number as some of my capture files. Should I just rename and move into the folder? Sorry about the confusion

Another solution would be to create one folder and then have two subfolders:

  • one for the map images

  • one for the calibration panel images

When you import this parent folder in Pix4D Fields, it will automatically scan all child folders underneath it for suitable images.

Yes, I was thinking along those same lines. Question though- the calibration images have the same file name as (6 of) the map images. Would that cause a conflict even though they are in a different subfolder? Should I just rename them? If so, do I need to follow the DJI protocol or would Calibration1, Calibration 2, etc. suffice? Thanks!
