Hi Everyone,

A client of mine is requesting that we send him a 3D Model in a .dwg file so that he can use it to take measurements within AutoCAD. However, Pix4d does not offer the export format of .dwg. Also, when he tries to import other file formats from us into AutoCAD they don’t seem to work. 

Has anyone else experienced this problem and have a solution? Is there a way to convert a file to .dwg?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

.dwg files are AutoCAD project files. You can create a .dwg with AutoCAD and import as layers the Pix4D outputs, e.g. the contour lines, the orthomosaic, etc. Then you save it as your_drawing.dwg.
