Hey everyone, I got my project to complete the Initial Processing, Point Cloud and Mesh, but when I try to do the DSM/Orthomosaic and Index it shuts the program down at about 50% complete. How can I get past this.
Hello @proagsolutionsnd, Can you upload the quality report and the log file ? Are you processing multispectral images ?
Yes, I have the quality report that has been done, but it will not let me download the PDF of it as it is grayed out. And No, I am processing JPEG pictures that I need to measure the volume of piles of dirt. The area was flown 3 different directions and angles to get proper 3D quality with a M300 and P1 Camera.
Thanks
Cory
@proagsolutionsnd if you processed a PIX4Dmapper project, the quality report and log file are automatically exported. You can locate them by opening the results folder
- The log file is in the main results folder.
- The quality report is at projectname\1_initial\report
Regarding volume calculation, a simple grid flown in nadir is enough to get accurate volume calculations, since we always calculate the volume between a base surface and the point cloud. Flying with an oblique camera angle is not necessary, unless you need this capture angle for other tasks. You can find more information here: How PIX4Dmapper calculates the Volume.
Note that if you have many volumes to calculate in a project, you could try out PIX4Dmatic to take advantage of the custom report, to quickly generate a PDF file that you can share with the project’s stakeholders.
Cheers
Hi I am having a similar issue and am not having luck with getting a response back from customer support.

I also found that your account was not verified, that might be the reason that the license was not detected properly. I have verified your account and made sure that you will not have issue reaching out to us again. FYI, I just replied to your ticket.
