DJI Phantom 3 vertical and horizontal accuracy

Hi,

I want to use Pix4Dmapper and ı am wondering,

when ı use this software with DJI Phantom 3 and want to 3D map, what is points’ horizontal and vertical accuracy in the uncultivated areas or agricultural areas.

Depends on a lot of factors but primarily the heigh of the aircraft. Generally the accuracy is 1to 2 times the GSD in the X and Y and 2 to 3 times the GSD in the Z axis.

Hi,

I was processing a 3D map with Pix4d Model and was interested to test the accuracy of the measurements. I saw the tennis courts on the map so decided to measure them on Pix4d then I googled dimensions for tennis courts!..bang on Pix4d well done!
