Hello Pix4D Team,
I’m currently trialing Pix4D Cloud Advanced to test its suitability for generating Gaussian Splat models from previously captured aerial imagery. I’m using the 15-day trial to evaluate how well the platform handles this type of data, which was originally captured for LiDAR and photogrammetry, straight down with minimal overlap.
My first test used all the free credits included in the trial. For the second test, it requires 53 credits. However, I’ve run into a roadblock: it seems I can’t purchase additional credits without first buying an Advanced license.
As this is purely a test, I don’t have internal approval to spend $249 USD on a license just to unlock credit purchasing. This puts us in a difficult position, we’re trying to validate the workflow before committing to it, but the cost barrier makes that validation hard to justify without already having a project in place. It’s a bit of a Catch-22.
Is there any way to purchase credits during the trial period, or access a lower-cost testing pathway to continue evaluating Gaussian Splatting with Pix4D?
