Hi there, I’ve been trying to use the beta version for Mac but every time I try to log in into the software it shows an error e0060 network error, I already check that no other software / app interferes but it gives the same error every time. Even when you uninstall - re install the software, Im stuck here any advise or solution that might help??
Hi Juan,
Are you running the software under some IT-administered environment?
Was this the error message, "Error: “Network error: Please check your internet connection. SSL handshake failed”?
If this is the case, you may want to look at this article Error: “Network error: Please check your internet connection. SSL handshake failed”
Let us know if you need any clarification or have any questions about the article as well.
Sincerely,
Rosana
Hi Rosana, thanks for the support.
this is the error message that keeps showing whenever I try to log in
Error e0060: Network error: verify your Internet connection: Error downloading https://mapper.pix4d.com/mapper/user_licenses/ - server replied: Forbidden
so, no I’m not running the software under IT environment and has nothing to do with the SSL. by the way I’m not using a VPN or something like it.
Hi,
We had seen several cases that Error e0060 was solved with one of the following solutions:
- There is no/unstable internet connection. Ensure a |stable internet connection.
- A proxy server is used. Please check: How to set up the Proxy Server Configuration
- The computer is behind a very strong firewall. Try turning off the firewall or whitelisting PIX4Dmapper for the firewall.
- Pix4D sites are not trusted by the Operating System (Windows). Please whitelist Pix4D sites and PIX4Dmapper/any products you use)
Safely open apps on your Mac
How to blacklist/whitelist apps on macOS devices? - The root and/or intermediate SSL certificates are not installed. Try installing the certificates to see if they help: Error: “Network error: Please check your internet connection. SSL handshake failed”
I hope these solutions help.
Sincerely,
Rosana (she/her)
Good afternoon, there are very good references of pix4d mapper in windows but there are very few references in the Mac OS system, I am interested,
Hi
I have a iMAC 3, with 8 gb Ram, MacOS Sonoma 14.2.1 and same error e0060 SSL handshake failed.
I found this error using different internet connection
Can you help me, thanks in advance
Hi @dronesrcor,
Welcome to the Pix4D Community.
Please note that macOS is not a supported OS for PIX4Dmapper:
The macOS version of PIX4Dmapper that we have available to download is an old version and not supported anymore.
Additionally, it is possible that recent macOS updates made this version incompatible as it still used old connection protocols that are not supported by modern OS.
You can try using a previous version of macOS, but we can’t ensure compatibility.
If you want to use PIX4Dmapper, we suggest you use a Windows device.
If you want to use your macOS device, you can give PIX4Dmatic a try:
