Automatic Stockpile detection improvement

It would be great if the automatic stockpile detection took into account the fact that some stockpiles have a flat top :

As of now, I wasn’t able to detect any stockpile visible in this screenshot.
Please let me know if it’s something you plan to add in future release.

Hi Maxime,

you are right, our algorithm, to this day, is optimized for non-flat top stockpiles, I have shared this feedback with the product developers.
As a workaround, you could try the following:

  • click on the top of the slope, but not on the flat side image, the blue area is created
  • hold the shift key and extend the stockpile area gradually with other mouse clicks image,image, …
  • when you go fully around, the flat top will be included
  • (optional) press undo (ctrl+z) if you click in the wrong place or if the polygon is not “growing” as expected
