The version of the drone is 1.3.2 that of the sky controller is 1.3.1. Pix4D is the updated version as of 12/13/2018.
I set the frequency in 5G, removed the data connection on the phone and immediately everything worked well. Then I moved from the area and I had problems.
How do you identify the correct channel?
Same problem here with Anafi. Starts mission but when signal is lost continues without taking any pictures.
Weird thing though is that in some missions pictures are taken even after disconnection occurs.
Due to WiFi link is almost impossible to complete a mission (without missing pictures) when the drone goes beyond 200 meters from take off point.
Normally Anafi should be able to execute the whole mission as it is uploaded from the start of the flight even if there is a disconnection.
This can be done when using with freeflight with mission planner but not with pix4dcapture so I suppose it is an issue of pix4dcapture app.
Are you using the Android or the iOS version of Pix4Dcapture? If iOS, are you using the Safe or Fast mode to trigger pictures?
The connection should be stable above the distance you are mentioning. Note that a connection loss may depend on several factors and the connection range is linked to the drone itself.
I’m CTO of SPH Engineering (UgCS). I can’t remember why we answered that 2 years ago, but Anafi support will be introduced in UgCS 3.8. We are doing flight tests currently. 2 days ago I successfully flew photogrammetry mission with Anafi.
I am new to Pix4D. It connects with my Anafi but it won’t fly it. I can manually hover by taking off and the Pix4D app says it’s hovering, but I can’t start the flight path either from the ground or from hover. I get this screen: screenshot
X drone position not known
X mission not uploaded to drone
X drone GPS sallelites (0 found)
! Mission is far away
My Anafi software and firmware are all latest versions. My device is a Google Pixel 6.
Hello robin1, Looking at your screenshot, it looks like the drone is not connected to any of the satellites. That is why no homepoint is set, or the mission was uploaded to the drone. First, to fix the issue of no GPS signal. If you are in an area with no satellite coverage, go to the open area. If that is the case, ensure that no other image acquisition apps are connected with the drone other than the PIX4Dcapture. You can also follow the steps for troubleshooting for PIX4Dcapture.
