Have a Mavic Pro 2 and we use the drone to calculate the volumes of cement and asphalt before crushing and after crushing. I’m curious what the best settings are for Pix4d.

You can use all the standard settings that you would use for any regular project. The one item I might recommend increasing is your overlap since many stockpiles can be very homogeneous in texture. This can cause problems if your image overlap is not sufficient. Assuming that this is true for you I would set my overlap at approximately 80%, and possibly even more. Otherwise, I would keep my camera at nadir, and use the default speed of the drone. You can read more about image acquisition plan in the article below:
