Problem in initial processing

IMG_20200717_215506
I begin in initial processing and I have the result below in image attached,it’s the first time I have this result and I don’t know the reason.my project it cross grid mission,in result I appear perpendicular grid
I am very interested to learn how to solve any problem in processing
I have other problem in creating dtm where he present many distortion ana mistake in value at very steep slope terrain (fourth image as example)

this the result of initial processing

Hello,

The issue is related to camera calibration. Can you try the below calibration method and see if that helps to solve your issue. If not can you forward me your quality report of the project?

Regards,

Hello dear
I want to ask you about dtm extraction, howe to have a pst dtk
In my project the automated classification of point cloud and dtm generation no ideal, where in dtm he remove the highest rock same as tree
And the clif don’t have the true shape in contour.
Howe can classify and get a real dtm with all features without tree and human object

Hello hassan,
I believe you will want to manually classify the point cloud. This will allow you to specify if an object is part of the terrain or something that is a human made object. You can read more about how to classify the point cloud in the article below.

Hello dear
In large project we have a movement object such as cars and trucks in main road for example
The movement object appear in mosaic duplicate car or transparent 50%

In mosaic we edit the area around every car to choose up to 5 photo without car this solution take a long time to finish the project
Pix4d matic or survey have a new solution faster than the old one in pix4d mapper or artificial intelligence way to automatically detect it and remove this distortion
And some time the highest building have a distortion especially in the edges of building

Yes, it is called deghosting. You can enable it in the Orthomosaic step. Simply toggle it on.

This option in pix4d matic not in pix4d mapper?

Yes, deghosting is only in PIX4Dmatic.

Thanks

Hello dear from my own experience and in my workstation
Around 5km2 and 5cm/px with 800 images the possessing take 3 day to 4 day for get the final product by pix4d mapper
Do you think pic4dmatic give the result faster and the same accuracy, and with or without deghosting tools
I have a project arround 33000 images and I study the best solution with us ,and what about pix4d cloud

Hello,
Yes, PIX4Dmatic is much faster. But it cannot handle 33,000 images at once. I would split this project into three subprojects. Each 11,000 images. The accuracy will be the same as PIX4Dmapper. And with the deghosting tool enabled you will not need to edit the orthomosaic. PIX4Dmatic can do that for you automatically.

Thanks dear again
So Pix4dmatic is the best to reduce time ,but still do not export dtm, what is your solution for that
And do you have a customized pix4d cloud for this project and give all export same as pix4d mapper( mosaic, dsm, dtm, point cloud)
Thanks again

If you are looking for a DTM then you will need to process with PIX4Dmapper. In such case, you will want to split it up into many subprojects and then merge. As for PIX4Dcloud, it cannot handle projects larger than 4000 images.

Ok dear great ,thanks
Pix4dcloud advance can export dtm,and do you have any idea about time processing to get the result for large project

No. Sorry for the confusion. PIX4Dcloud cannot generate a DTM. Only the DSM.

As for processing times, it can vary greatly. It is determined on the resolution of the images, current demand on the servers, and number of images. In all likelihood, a large project can be many hours if not more.

in Pix4d survey ,present terrain filter tools and tin creation tools, this represent the ground and we can use these tin and filter tocreate dtm in other software (such as arcgis)

Yes, that is correct. If you want to create a DTM then you can classify the points as terrain and then export all the terrain points. Then import into ArcGIS Pro and create a raster surface.

Hello dear
I have a error in login using pix4d capture
We create 2 account and use my old account and we change the password, reinstalled pix4d
The same error can’t connect to the server

Hello dear again
I want to ask about the best computer performance
If i have a large project every part around 15 km2 captured by deltaquad pro, camera 61MP
Total project area around 300 km2, so what is the best computer specifications ( give me a estimation time if available for 15km2 processing point cloud dsm dtm orthophoto)
