I’m trying to import micasense rededge photos into pix4dmatic trial version (my projects are large - 16k photos, 18 hectares, multiple flights…). It seems to only ingest jpg’s though. Is this a trial limitation, or does pix4dmatic really only work with jpgs?

Pix4Dmatic does not work with tiff images. I would suggest to you trying to process your project in Pix4Dfields. Pix4Dfields processes RGB images, multispectral images, and the thermal band of the Altum camera. Here you can find more information about Pix4Dfields.
