Hey all, has anyone successfully connected their Pix4Dfields program to their MyJohnDeere account? Mine keeps throwing an error message R0074: Could not fetch data from your Farm Management System. I have connected them and am in the office with good internet, and am logged in on both.
Hi Zack,
We replied to your internal ticket. I am replying here for our other users, and will reply as soon as we find the problem. Indeed looking at the log files we can see that some issues occurred (thanks again for sending the log files this helps always to troubleshoot)-
Could you please also provide us the following information?
-
Is this the first time you are trying to export to MyJohnDeere Operation Center or did you do it before and it worked?
-
Please describe step by step what you did before getting this error
-
Please let me know if you followed the steps that we describe in this article: https://support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039083812-How-to-connect-to-John-Deere-Operations-Center. If not, could you please follow these steps and let us know if the error still occurs?
-
From your message, I understand that you connected your John Deere account with your Pix4Dfields account. Right? To be sure that you connected you should have seen this window (we explain step by step in the article that I just send to you):
Looking forward to your reply,
Kind regards

Yes, this is the first time I’ve tried to export from Pix4D to MJD
-
I followed the steps described in the article posted. It was when I got to the step that has you go to the “Farm Management System” where I go the aforementioned “could not fetch data” error.

Yes, I connected my John Deere account to Pix4dfields. It showed they’re connected on the Connections page of my John Deere account after I did it.
Dear Zack
Thanks for the information that you have provided and for your patience. We tried to replicate the issue, but everything is working on our side. We are investigating with the developers to see where exactly the error occurred, and I will give you more feedback as soon as possible. When you said that you checked on the connection page of MyJohnDeere. Do you mean here?
Kind regards,
Dear Zack,
Thank you for your patience, and for sharing this with us. Let me explain to you the issue. The error you sent to us in the screenshot occurs when we are not connected to MyJohnDeere Operation Center. However, in this case, the error occurs because not every organization in MJDOC has a field.
We are working on the application so that this can be avoided, and only the organizations that we want to use in Pix4Dfields need to have a field. However, at the moment, we need that all the organizations have a field in MJDOC. I will inform you as soon as we release the new version.
Could you please create a field in all your organizations, and then try with the workflow again?
Here some information about how to create a field: - YouTube
Kind regards,
I created a field for the imagery previous to it in MJDOC. Boundaries may not exactly match, but unless I could export the flight pattern from DJI Ground Station Pro, it won’t be exact anyway. The Client/Farm/Field on MJD matches the Organization/Farm/Field I put on Pix4Dfields. But I’ll try and upload the imagery again.
Yes please do so. Please create a field on every Organization in MyJohnDeereOperation Center (please do it for all even the ones that are not being use in Pix4Dfields). If you have many organizations that creating a field on all of them is not a suitable option for you, please let me know.
Looking forward to your reply.
I’m attempting to load this into my personal MJD, there’s only one organization on that one. Trying to do so on our 4 Rivers MJD account wouldn’t work, since we have hundreds of organizations on there.
I just tried again, Client/Farm/Field on MJD is the same as the Client/Organization/Farm on Pix4Dfields. I got the same error code, R0074. Does the “Organization” spot on Pix4D need to match the 6-digit organization number that is on all MJD accounts to make this work?
Fernanda, attached are the log files from my most recent attempt to upload a few minutes ago.
Hey Zack,
I am summarizing here the steps that we followed to solve the issue: The settings that are on the following screenshot help us to organize the projects that we have on the dashboard of Pix4Dfields. These settings are not related to the connection between Pix4Dfields and JohnDeere OperationCenter. We can find more information about these settings here: https://support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041176511-Individual-project-settings
What we did to solve the issue is first:
• Open the project that in this case was sync
• Click on Farm Management System
• Click Third-Party Connections
• Disconnect JohnDeere Operation Center with Pix4Dfields
• Log out from MyJohnDeere
We did this to avoid being connected to other JohnDeere accounts; then, we followed the workflow in the article from the beginning.
- Verify that I have an organization, farm, and field in John Deere Operations Center
- Open Pix4Dfields
- Synchronize the project that we want to export to JDOC
- Click Farm Management System
- Click Manage Third-Party Connections
- Click connect to John Deere Operations Center
- Click Allow
- Click Refresh Connection
- Select the Organization, Farm, and field (these are the ones that you have in JDOC, but after connecting are visible in Pix4Dfields)
- Give the name of the layer that we want to export
- Click continue
- Click export
All the steps are described in this article: https://support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039083812
