PIX4catch manual exposure & white balance

We are looking to use PIX4Dcatch to do gaussian splats of interior spaces. However the current implementation on Iphone 16 pro max doesn’t allow for manual expose & white balance. These settings might work well for photogrammetry but for gaussian splatting it’s making everything noisy and dirty. Is there any plan to implement a way to lock these value ?

Hi Tim,

Thanks for the feedback!

We’ve passed this information along to our development team for investigation — we really appreciate you highlighting this. While we’re currently not planning to release a feature to lock exposure and white balance, we understand how important this could be for Gaussian splatting workflows, and we’re definitely looking into it.

Just to better understand your use case — are you scanning areas with low light conditions or challenging lighting environments? That kind of context can help us evaluate potential improvements more effectively.

Best regards,
