Other means to adjust the Weights of Manual Tie Points

Apart from the zoom level it would be nice to be able to select a manual tie point and adjust its weight without selecting it on multiple images at a different zoom level.

Besides, manual tie points by default should be given higher weight than automatic.

Hi Vusal,

Thank you for your suggestions!

Manual Tie Points (MTPs) are given higher weight than the automatic points. The zoom level with which they are marked is a good indicator of their weight.

In any case, I have added your idea about giving a specific weight to the MTPs in our Suggestion list. Our Product Development team will consider it for future version of the software.

Best regards,

We have started editing the xml file that contains the zoom level for MTP’s and GTP’s. It would be a nice feature to keep the original zoom within the bingo file to maintain accuracy…otherwise you are stuck reclicking each mark to re-establish the zoom. We’ve had many attempts bomb out until we finally figured this out.

Dear Jagjit,

Starting from our current version (Pix4Dmapper 2.0), you can export the marks of GCPs/Manual Tie Points to a Pix4D marks file, that contains information about the zoom level at which the MTPs / GCPs are marked on the images.
