No option to compute volume

I am trying to measure stock piles in survey. The area was flown with Mavic E3 using smart ortho and gcp’s. It was then processed through Matic using default options for oblique options. When I open the project in survey and create a volume measurement, it creates a layer, but doe not compute it or give the option to compute. It also gives me an attention icon " some volumes are not computed or outdated".
Any ideas how to get this to compute volume?

the only thing that i can think of would be to make sure that you click anywhere within the boundary that you want to quantify and it should give you the option to calculate the volume in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. if you move any of the selected points around the boundary it will tell you that the volume has been outdated and needs to be recomputed, there will be an infinity circle beside the calculate tab that you need to click to recalculate the volume. hope this helps.

Hello @cpalmers,

You have two options to compute volumes in PIX4Dsurvey after creating your volume measurements.

The first one is the one mentioned by @mark.nunn: select the volume you want to compute, and click on the Compute button in the Properties panel that is on the right by default. Note that in versions prior to 1.59.0 this button was in the lower part of the Content panel, on the left.

The second option is to use the Compute outdated volumes action in the Layers 3-dot menu, available since version 1.57.0. Note this will compute the volume for all outdated volumes, not only the one selected, contrary to the first method.

Using any of these methods, your volumes will be computed and you will see the results in the Properties panel, these volumes will then be available for the volume report.

Thank you for your help and replies. I was used to the compute button being on the bottom right, and did not know it moved to the right side. All is working as it should.
