No keypoints detected in dozens of images

I am trying to process some terrestrial data and I have dozens of images that have zero keypoints detected. I can’t seem to calibrate the image without having them, unless I want to add 20 manual tie points, which I’m not certain will work. The images are clear and full of features, but none are being created. What’s going on?

Hi,

Actually when many images are not calibrated, we suspect a problem with the following:

  • The image quality is not sufficient (blurry images, no texture, etc.).
  • There is no overlap between the images.
  • The camera model associated to the cameras is not correct.
  • The image geolocation or coordinate system is not correct.
  • The GCP geolocation or coordinate system is not correct.

Solutions that we recommend are to:

  • Verify that the image quality is sufficient. For more information: 203756115.
  • Verify that there is enough overlap between the images. For more information: 203756125.
  • Verify that the camera model associated to the camera is correct. For more information: 203032259.
  • Verify that the image geolocation and coordinate system is correct. For more information: 203755985.
  • Verify that the GCP geolocation and coordinate system is correct. For more information: 203032299.

Best Regards,
