M3M and pix4d mapper

Hello everyone,

I am using a M3M do process this repurposed gulf course. No matter what settings I use , I get this distortion. Using only the regular camera images for this job. Don’t need any multispectral images. Final deliverable will be a dsm for autocad.

I have used another program with the same images and create a perfect ortho but that program can not give me dsm or use gcps.

Hi, I noticed in your report you used ‘standard’ for your calibration method under calibration processing options. Perhaps try use ‘Accurate Geolocation and Orientation’ as your option as we’ve found this favours the orientation of the camera pictures. It definitely helps prevent the distortion I see in your image above especially if you have a combination of oblique images and nadir not just nadir (90deg).
