Hi
Can I import my leica blk360 point cloud into pix4d to create a mesh? Or can i combine it with photos to create a master point cloud?

Hi Robert,

You cannot create a 3D Textured mesh from an external point cloud within Pix4Dmapper. In Pix4Dmapper, you can use the external .LAS file to create the DSM, which is the product all of our Step 3 Data-products are based off.

Have a look at Pix4Dsurvey which allows you to combine the photometrically generated point cloud and external point clouds. You can also create a TIN which is in a way a similar representation of the terrain as 3D mesh. However, the TIN does not use images to texture the faces.
