Infrared Reflectance Map's Default Color Pallette Seems Opposite What It Should Be?

We generated a reflectance map for our infrared camera. We were surprised to find by default Pix4D assigns a scale with the coolest temp being red and the warmest being green? Isn’t that counter-intuitive?

Hi Jeff,
I believe you are correct. Common cartographic design principles would suggest that red is a warmer color than green. These color pallets are designed for generic multispectral imagery and I think it is best to keep in mind that many of our outputs are designed to be imported into 3rd party software. If you take this into QGIS or ArcGIS you can symbolize it however you see fit.
