Import camera position & orientation from metashape?

Hi all,

I have better luck getting my rededge cameras registered in metashape than i do in pix4d.  But I’d like to stick with the pix4d pipeline.  Has anyone been able to export camera position & orientation information from Metashape and import them into their Pix4D project?  It seems that metashape has a plethora of file format options for camera export…

Hi Alexander, 

What you would need in Pix4Dmapper is to have a .txt file with X, Y, Z and omega, phi, kappa parameters.

As I don’t know the Metashape file formats by heart, maybe you can extract somehow this information and include into Pix4Dmapper in Image Properties Editor.
