I got photos from Mavic 3M and processed them in Pix4D by using the Agriculture type and NDVI. Do I need to do radiometric calibration , or does the software do it automatically?
To do aggregate radiometric calibration, you need radiometric reflectance targets. Otherwise, you will only have basic calibration.
This is only relevant if you want to use the data for scientific analyses which compare different acquisitions over time, or use it for regression or machine learning models as input.Otherwise, NDVI is a self-normalizing index.
